Pump not working?

My right breast was pretty engorged. I was worried I may have a blocked duct. I tried to pump a little and hardly anything came out.. I hand expressed and so much came out. Is my pump broken or just crappy?

Also sometimes I wouldnt get much on the pump but would when hand expressing if I got too engorged. It's like the milk was stuck and needed to be massaged. Try taking a warm shower before pumping and massage in the shower. I would get double the milk when I showered right before pumping.

The vibrations from an electric toothbrush works wonders on a blocked duct incase anyone has never heard of it before!

Do you need to replace parts ?  I just had to replace the tubing and valves on my pump.  I was pumping on max and getting hardly anything before I did that and now I have to turn it down 😬

Are you hand expressing while pumping? When I just pump without also hand expressing I don’t get much.
