My husband was raised by his step dad since he was a baby. He didn’t have contact with his real father until the past 10 years but we call him by name and he doesn’t consider him his “dad.” His mom was legally married to his step-dad throughout the course of our relationship so I consider step- dad as my father in law. But my question is what would my husband’s biological father be considered as? Would he be ex father-in-law, just father in law, or another random dude who I can refer to by first name?
