🤦🏻‍♀️ I wish I could tell my MIL to stop buying useless and expensive crap and to please shop on my registry if she feels the need to buy things! (She's very materialistic, more things = more love 🙄) This will be our first, so we need things like medicine, and wipes, diapers, bath essentials, maybe gift cards to Lowe's or home depot to set up the baby's room...stuff like that. I've sent her the link to my registry and mentioned that we have everything we will need on there.... And that I'm over loaded on clothes already. But no, she'd rather buy him the most expensive clothes she can find and lots of them, all the way up to 12 month size, and things like the elf on a shelf.... How is a BABY going to benefit from or enjoy elf on a shelf?!
