Do you let your husband go out with friends/ hang out with them

I don’t own my husband, he’s not my property so I don’t need to ‘let’ him do anything. I do however trust him, and we encourage each other to maintain separate social lives outside of our mutual one for or health and sanity. Every couple is different but we both value friendships and think it’s important to have certain hobbies and things we do separately. So I’m 100% ok with him hanging out with his friends.

First of all, i dont “let” him do anything. Hes a grown ass man who can do as he wants. Just like he doesnt “let” me go out with my friends. Its not so much about permission. Yes he lets me know of his plans, same way that i tell him. Its common courtesy when u live & r in a relationship with them. And yes i trust him...if i dont, then why am i with him? I cant live a married life with mistrust. Thats not my idea of marriage.

Yes and i trust him. SO is out right now. He just said "Im going over there to have a drink with *friends name*". I dont know where over there is but i just hope he doesnt get chased by the neighborhood dogs walking back🤣.

“Let him” 🤣🤣 I’m not his mom or his like owner. He’s an introvert though and I’m the extrovert. I go out a few times a month and I tell him he’s on his own for dinner that night or when I’ll be home. He doesn’t care that I’m more social, he just rather stay home. My friends are still single and he doesn’t want to be the only guy

I'm not his mum so I don't 'let' him do anything. He will always ask as it's polite but I've never said no unless he's forgotten about a prior engagement.

I hate that, “let” him hang out. I don’t “let” him do anything because he doesn’t need my permission, he’s an adult. There have been times when my husband will ask to go do something and I’m always like you don’t need to ask me, if you know we don’t already have plans and you want to hang out with friends then go hang out with friends. The only thing I ask of him is to put it on our shared calendar so I know not to make plans for us.  I’ve also had his friends text me thanking me for letting him come hang out and I’m always telling them he doesn’t need permission—it’s so crazy that some women are that controlling, i don’t ever have expectations for my husband that I don’t set for myself—and I’m the type of person that will NOT allow for any one, man or woman, tell me what I can and cannot do, so I’m not going to tell my husband what he can and cannot do.
