Just here to rant.

I understand hospitals have restrictions. And I also understand why they are in place as I have worked in a hospital for a long time. However I’m having my baby in about 2 weeks and it kills me that my daughters won’t be able to meet their baby sister until we come home (which will be 3 days because I’m a csection ) ... due to flu restrictions and no one under the age of 18 is allowed in the hospital unless they are being treated.

When I had my second daughter ... we were not aware of the restriction ... so my youngest daughter was in the room with me .. and the Anastasiaologist very Rudley told us to get her out ASAP. (He could have been a lot nicer about the situation) it tore me apart and I just started balling when they told her to get out.

Again I understand why there are restrictions. And I know I can video chat with my daughters when she is born ... but it still just bothers me so much and I know my daughters will be upset to. My oldest not so much because she is at a age where she can understand.

It’s just such a big moment for us as a family ... and I hate that I can’t share it with them :(
