Violent Dreams Pregnancy

I’m 26 weeks, and for the past month, at least 3 times I week, I am having intense, vivid, & violent dreams. The scenario is always someone trying to kill me. Sometimes I dream that I am being chased and stabbed at. Usually I dream that I am involved in a mass shooting and I am hiding somewhere and watch or listen as people are being shot or killed around me. I never die in my dreams, but they are disturbing none the less. Also, I’m a first time mom and I never dream about my baby. I’m always alone in my dreams and am being hunted.

Does anyone have any insight as to why I’d be dreaming this scenario?
