My baby boy was born with Gastroschisis on March 31st 2019 he was premature and had his closure surgery right after birth! He spent 33 days in the NICU. He is almost 8 months old now and is doing so great! The first few months were a bit hard because he had really bad reflux and went through a little phase of not wanting to eat much but he is super healthy now! He is eating a mix of solids and his milk, he absolutely loves veggies! He has a bit more of a sensitive stomach and spits up if occasionally. His reflux has improved greatly and now rarely has it! Just wanted to give an update and post for all you Gastroschisis mamas! I love my little Gastroschisis warrior and besides his custom made belly button, you would never think that he has been through all that he has! 💚💚
