Is anyone experiencing secondary infertility?

TTC #2 going on month 6.  #1 happened in the first month.  Anyone else? 😞

We haven’t started TTC yet, but plan ti in the next few months.  I’ve been reminding myself that (based on research) it is normal for most couples to take 6 mos to a year to conceive and positive results prior to that are not the norm.  That timeframe can be a bit longer as we age as well.  We were able to conceive within 2-3 months of trying for both my 1st (ectopic) and 2nd pregnancies.  I remember the extreme disappointment when my period would arrive, so I can’t imagine 6 months or more of that. 😪 Sending positive vibes your way and fingers crossed for a positive pregnancy test for you soon!! 🤞🏼

Mines was the complete opposite. 1st took about 2 years and second took only one month. My point is that it can be really random when it comes to trying to conceive but definitely do not give up. If it passed a year and still no luck then your doctor recommends getting a check up. It’ll definitely happen though ❤️. Baby dust.

Currently going through this. On month 14 of trying to conceive baby #2. We were referred to a fertility specialist, failed IUI #1, about to start second attempt. It's so difficult to go through, and the questions from others wondering why we haven't had another baby yet make me feel awful..

I’m now carrying baby number 2, but it took us almost a year to conceive her. We started when our September 2017 baby was 8 months old. For me I think it was because I was still nursing. When we weaned at almost 20 months I got pregnant the same month. I think it was keeping me from ovulating or ovulating regularly.

We were trying for week over a year (while I was nursing but I had my periods back) before we conceived. That ended in mmc but I'm pregnant again now.

We’ve been ttc for 1.5 years now and still not pregnant. It’s the worst feeling ever because I feel like I’m letting my son down by not giving him a sibling and everyone keeps asking when we’re going to have another one. It hurts 💔

I got pregnant with first on the second try-  the second one on the fourth with help.  I think it was anxiety and pressure with the second.  Comparing the amount of time and how simple it was to get pregnant before- feeling the need to get pregnant at a certain time, it stressed both of our bodies out to the point where it wouldn’t happen.  Eventually I actually scheduled my husband and I for Accupuncture for anxiety and fertility-  my husband loved it-  he felt relaxed and ready to perform.  I felt relaxed and like my body able to nurture and make this new little guy stick.  I still remember my appointment the day after ovulation and knowing this was the month-  I’ll be meeting baby number two next month! I hope everything works out for you- theres nothing worse than hoping and timing each month and being disappointed, I understand.

Yes. After struggling with first time infertility. I was hoping after the first baby it would go a little smoother but we’ve been trying since April officially and off birth control since last November 2018. If we manage to get pregnant again, this will be our last. I can’t go through all of this again.
