Thanksgiving ...

Do yall find it rude if guests show up empty handed to your house on Thanksgiving?

***EDIT***Ooops,I guess I should give a little more background. We live away from all of our family so our family of 5 do Thanksgiving on our own. This couple my husband and I know,his wife suggested we do Thanksgiving together. Because we have 3 kids it was easier to do at our house. Well we are literally cooking EVERYTHING. Her and her husband are just showing up with a pie....Do I have the right to be upset by this...

***EDIT*** OK,lol...She suggested we do Thanksgiving together. I said cool,my place because of the kids. Im annoyed because its came down to me basically making a whole dinner for her and her husband and her contributing just a pie. Its different if I invited her and said "hey,be our guest. Ill cook you a wonderful meal" but she suggested we do it "together". Thanksgiving is exspensive enough as it is and our small frugil Thanksgiving dinner is now more exspensive. I asked her several times if she could bring a few sides and she replied with "sounds like youre preparing enough as it is,Ill bring a pie".I really just feel taken advantage of honestly🤷🏼‍♀️
