Is my Turkey ok?

I bought a 14 pound frozen Turkey on friday. I put it in the fridge friday night. Its fully thawed now, but I'm not going to cook it until Wednesday night. Is it still good? 1st year cooking a turkey and I dont want to make any mistakes or get anyone sick.

Yes. It’s fine. The most important thing is making sure it gets cooked completely when you do cook it. 
Those probe thermometers are great. The probe goes in the bird and a wire runs out of the oven to the display. You can set them to alert you when it reaches the right temperature.

You need to make sure it stays below 40 degrees.  If its higher than that bacteria will multiply and can be dangerous to eat even if it doesnt smell. Most refrigerators will keep it below 40 degrees.

That is way too long to keep thawed. My sister-in-law did the same thing a few years ago and everyone got food poisoning. I would purchase another and thaw it for 2 days and then soak the wrapped turkey in the sink the morning of Thanksgiving.
