I’ve never gone to a gynecologist before, and I’ve never had a Pap smear done. Having insurance isn’t an issue, I’m just afraid of what the experience will be like. Is it painful? Is it awkward having a doctor looking down there?

What tips would you give? What would you of liked to of known before the first time you went?

I’m still in my teen years and my mom never really talked to me about this stuff.
