So guess I might have two baby showers since my mom wants to be a bit of a bitch. My boyfriend’s mom was being nice to offer her house to save money instead of going to a hotel. My mom wanted it to be all ladies instead of coed. She never asked what I would like at all. It’s all about her since she’s hosting. I’m not going to have any friends there so it’d just be her friends and family members. So I rather do a coed shower. I was already aiming for a coed shower before she mentioned wanting to plan one. I’m going to do a registry that way I don’t get double furniture items.

She got mad cause I wanted to do one big shower at one time. I didn’t want a lot of mostly furniture because our apartment is very small. We barley have room for our things. So we have to figure out how to store items and make more room. The other option would be to move to a bigger apartment. My mom called me ungrateful when I was trying to explain the space situation. She just yelled and yelled at me. I cried when I got off the phone and my nose bled. I was so angry and felt like shit. I’m trying to keep from cutting but she’s literally sending me over the edge.

My boyfriend told his mom that my mom doesn’t want to share hosting. His mom was fine with it and might host her own. So right now I’m stressed because of my mom wanting things her way which makes me not want to have any events especially a wedding.
