I had a CMP early this year. D&c was March of this year. I have been negative since May. This month, 2wks ago, was supposed to be my last blood draw but mine came back positive. There was a mix up at the lab and they didnt do the HCG quant test, they did the quality test instead. So no numbers just a confirmation of pregnant. They told me to come back whenever to do a quant test which I did last week. I just got my results back and my levels are high but since they messed up on the 1st one theres nothing to compare the number to. Anyway. My levels for 4wks 6d is 7043 I know there can be a wide range but I saw for week 4 it should be between 5 - 426. Since it was a day short of 5wk, should it fall into the work 5 range or stay in the week 4 range? I know higher levels are consistent with molar pregnancy. I was instantly depressed when I saw the results. The numbers were higher than y CMP and I was even further along with my first labs for that pregnancy. My ultrasound is not until next week. Did anyone have high levels and still end up with a healthy rainbow? I'm trying to prepare mentally for the worst but looking for a small glimmer of hope 😞
