Issues after going down on me

I noticed my boyfriend never really went down on me and after I couldn’t stand not knowing long enough I finally asked why and he explained that every time he does he get a sore throat after doing so. That being said i’m not worried! Mind you i’m 21 and have only had sex with him and have just started having sex a month ago. What should I do? I’m worried I have an STD but I know my boyfriend’s history and he is clean. HELP 😭
