Any pointers, need to knows, or advice?

I just found out yetesterday that I have an anterior placenta (my placenta is up front and borders my belly button). And my experience with this baby will be completely different than the experience I had with my son. Is there any advice or anything I need to know? Did you learn anything from your experience that could help me?

You might feel movement later, but that’s really it. Both of my pregnancies had anterior placentas. I felt my first one around 18 weeks, and my second (current) at 14 weeks. So, it didn’t muffle much for me, but I know that it does for a lot of women. It doesn’t really affect anything else.

I had an anterior placenta with my second pregnancy and to be honest there wasn't any extreme differences. It took me longer to feel or see movement from the outside but that's about it.

They’re common and not really much different than the other placenta positions. Only difference is that you may feel baby much later than others.

The only different is you feel baby later and less often. Once your feeling the baby it will l also take a little longer to feel the baby from the outside like a husband or someone else.
