8wk ultrasound

I had my 8wk ultrasound yesterday! There was a sac that measured totally accurate . But there was no baby 😢 Is there still hope ? Has anyone ever had this happen before ? In hopes that their still might be a baby there ? My doctor is doing blood work to see if my levels are still rising. Which i find out Saturday what’s happening with my pregnancy 😕.
