Need some advice

Makenzie

Being a FTM, I worry about my unborn baby & im never sure what’s normal & what isn’t. The past couple days I have had a cough, now laying here thinking about it, I haven’t felt my baby as much as usual..I’m 24w6d & I’m just not sure what’s normal movement at this point. I’m such a worrier...😥

It’s normal not to feel consistent movement before 28 weeks especially if you have an anterior placenta and if it’s your first baby.

I googled this recently- what’s “normal” in fetal movement. I was concerned after eating more cake than usual because I got so much extra movement. I didn’t really get a lot of concrete answers about a standard amount of movement BUT I did read that if you are concerned about lack of movement to drink a glass of juice and then lay down and count kicks.Basically that gives your baby a little sugar rush, so I don’t know how often i’d personally do it. There are also fetal heartbeat monitor apps that might reassure you.
