When did you let baby first sleep/nap in bed with you?

Just curious. I have yet to really sleep with my baby in bed with me but I know many people do even though it’s considered unsafe.

Never! I didn’t ever want to start because I don’t want to have to share my bed with my kids.

We bedshared with our first from day one until 13mo when he wanted his own space and bedsharing since day one with our second. 
We bedshared following the Safe Sleep 7 outlined by the La Leche League because everybody in our house sleeps better that way.

At 2 months it became more important to me to get sleep.

It’s only considered unsafe in America, with proper accommodations (not in between the parents, no huge blankets, firm bed, etc) there are safe cosleeping guidelines available

I won’t. I don’t think bed sharing is safe regardless of “rules” followed. They can snuggle in bed with me when they are 2 or 3+

We did it out of necessity for the first 8 weeks, but my son and I slept in a separate bed than my husband. I was determined to get him to sleep in his crib, and we succeeded, but it took 2 months to get there. He’s only slept in our bed once since, and that was at almost 2.
