we decided to TTC later

my husband and i had been not trying but not preventing for 7 months until we finally decided to actively TTC in may of this year. finally found out i was pregnant at the end of october and we were so ecstatic!

i was really worried because he was leaving for work on the other side of the country in California (i’m stationed in Virginia so i couldn’t go with him).

unfortunately a night before he was suppose to leave i miscarried. we were absolutely devastated. he took emergency leave to stay with me until his company called and said he had to go to california. we both agreed that it probably isn’t the best time to continue TTC right now.

so while he’s gone i’m going to see a fertility specialist (my doctor recommended it) and when he comes back in six months to a year, we’ll start trying again. he said he’d rather if i got pregnant while he was home so he wouldn’t miss anything important.
