My son isn’t even born yet (I’m a week or so), and I have massive anxiety about family members kissing him and or making him sick! I wasn’t this over protective with my daughter when she was born over 10 years ago. I keep reading about babies getting sick with RVS, cold sores, measles, etc. I legit get severe anxiety thinking about someone holding my baby and I think I’m just going to hog him. I’ve seen how my husband’s family would pass his nephew around as a baby and even now as a 3 year old. I just don’t want something happening to my baby and I know my MIL won’t respect my wishes. She is throwing a baby party after he is born and her family is massive and they all touch and kiss. 😭
