Prepping for labor?

I'm currently 36+3, and I've had Braxton hicks pretty much constantly since 28 weeks. Obviously I'm not far off from the finish line, and im definitely feeling where my body is preparing for the big day.

As of late, I have had lower back pain. It's hard to explain, but it feels a lot like menstrual cramps, although I dont have noticeable tightening with them. The other morning I had Braxton hicks 3-5 minutes apart for an hour alongside the back pain.

The back pain has come and gone, but now I'm experiencing a ton of pressure against the back of my pelvis when i sit down or try to go to the bathroom. I didnt get a cervical check at my appointment, so I dont know if I'm dilated or anything. Also having a lot of pain in my groin when moving around, squatting, etc.

I guess my question is, is this a normal thing? Or am I looking at going into labor sooner than I think?
