I'm getting married next month. I know it's traditional to wear makeup, but I'm not sure I want to. Our wedding is really low key, and I'd have to pay for new makeup I'm not going to use again because makeup artists are too expensive. I sometimes do a little eye makeup and gloss for special occasions so I thought about doing that for the wedding, but I also like the idea of going natural. My fiance doesn't mind either way, though he's told me he'd prefer I didn't wear it. What do you guys think?

It’s your wedding. It’s about you, and your husband. So what’s comfortable to you. If that means no makeup, then don‘ t wear makeup 🤷🏼‍♀️. You’ll be just as beautiful either way, and that confidence is great!

I would say a full-face for pictures' sake. If you don't do any makeup, you're going to run the risk of your features not standing out, especially if there is flash used. It's like when movie actors and stage performers use makeup...it's not so much for the beauty aspect, but so that everyone can see their features. This would be similar. You could go to a makeup counter/store and get your makeup done, or get free samples of foundation and concealer from stores like Sephora (that's what I did for my wedding because I got married in Jamaica and tanned beforehand and didn't want to spend $80 on new foundation). You don't necessarily need to buy new makeup or hire an artist.

I voted full face but hear me out. You can do it to make it look very natural but it will be one of the most photographed day of your life and your face will look not so washed out in photos❤️ but of course if you don’t want to don’t!☺️
