Getting divorced after giving birth ?

Question

I gave birth to my baby boy 10 days ago...
It was supposed to be the happiest moment of our lives, we would have our little happy family together....
But nothing went as planned, most of my in laws ( about 10 members) showed up at the hospital, they weren't supposed to come, i was supposed to have my mom and husband beside me but my husband insisted on his mom to come as well which I agreed but they all came!!!
It was a disaster.... 
then my mother in law stayed at house for three days, she treated me really bad, i had CS, she wouldn't even serve me a cup of coffee , i had to get up myself to wash the dishes, to prepare food for myself.
I warned my husband but he didn't do anything.
I told my mom the whole thing and she came to visit me and talked with my husband, he said so much disrespectful things to her and raised his voice at her. 
She got mad and left our house and never came back.....
Now i am having no one around me, i am ashamed to even visit my parents.....
 My husband is still rough with me, i can't live a life like this...
I want to save myself and my son from him and his family....
What do you think I should do? I can't forgive him, he hasn't even apologized to me or my mom...

Talk to him about it first. He should be by your side no matter what. If he’s too stubborn to apologize or see that he’s wrong then I would leave. His mom disrespecting you and then him disrespecting your mom is crossing the line.

Well first off:  u should of had this conversation with ur husband and ur husband only. Okay I understand his family showed up and I understand u upset. But u should of just let that go once it happened since it was out of your hands at the time. I understand women with c section have a hard time healing but why should u expect anything to be served by your mother in law. Ur husband I understand but if she didn’t do it then that means only other person should of done it is ur husband. U got upset and you ran to mommy. Why u letting your mommy meddle into this. I understand why he reacted the way he did. And no he doesn’t owe her an apology since it’s your fault from the start. U grown ass adult and u need to deal with this. Not mommy. You two have major issues and now u running away with divorce threats. Come on. Grow up and deal with things. Talk to each other not hiding behind papers or other people.

I’m sorry that you’re going through that. He should be there for you always but even more attentive, protective, and loving towards you during this time. Did he act this way before you had the baby? And did you have problems with his family in the past? I would say if this is the first time he’s been this careless with your feelings then it’s worth a discussion with him at least. But if this is his normal behavior you should definitely leave. You and your son deserve better.

That would be the end for me. Get yourself together, heal, focus on your baby, relax, don’t do anything you shouldn’t be doing now. If you still feel the same, say after 3 month, and he hasn’t  apologised to both you and your mother, end it. It won’t get better. What an asshole to treat you like this after you have just given birth. If my man ever raised his voice at my mother, or made me feel the way you feel after the birth, I’d print the damn papers and put them in front of him.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. Congrats on the new baby. 
Did you and your husband have communication issues before this situation? Was your MIL always overbearing?
If these are unique actions due to this situation, then hopefully things can be worked out. Emotions are/were running high for all involved

Take your time thinking. Hormones are all over the place after giving birth. Dishes can wait. Give yourself time to heal. Focus on you and your child. I had two c sections and they were very challenging to recover from. You do need help, but you are not entitled to it. I hope your husband steps up and starts helping you. You can place your own boundaries such as no you cant stand up for a long time to do dishes yet, you need to save energy for feeding the baby. Just an idea. Not out of spite but just set limits so you can heal properly.
