Ring on a string test

Anyone heard of this? It can apparently predict the gender of your baby.

So you put your wedding ring on a string/strand of hair and hang it from the string above your belly while laying down. If it swings back and forth it means boy, if it moves in a circle it means girl.

You can do the same thing over your hand palm down but with this it’s the opposite - back and forth girl, circle boy.

I’m 11 weeks and did this and got girl! I’m excited to find out the gender to see if it’s right! Even though it’s just for fun and just an old wives tale, I’ve done some research and it’s seemed right for pretty much everyone who’s tried it.

If you know your baby’s gender through blood test, or have seen it on an ultrasound (I don’t know if anyone in this group is that far along yet) try it and let me know if it was right!

I know it’s silly, but it’s just for fun while waiting to be able to find out the actual gender. 😊
