How consistent are you with your bedtime routine?

Question

With holidays coming up and most of our LOs having early bedtimes, how will you cope with bedtime routines during holiday dinners and such? I will be bringing my son to my moms house for Xmas dinner and I know we’ll be there past his bedtime.

Ours is more like a bedtime routine window. We do it between 8-9 depending on his last nap/feed since he is still feeding on demand. So it varies a little bit each day.

I was very clear to both families about her bedtime routine. So if dinner isn’t done or we haven’t eaten by the time I need to leave- that’s on them and I don’t wanna hear it.

I would probably put them to bed in another room if LO got super fussy. 
Ours is more around 10-11.
