Bath steri strips??

Question

So I had a c-section on Tuesday. It is now Monday and I got my staples taken out. The dr then put steri strips on. I asked if I could take a bath and he said yes... does that sound right? Just want to double make sure

so if they dont fall off before 2 weeks go ahead and take a bath. I was always told I could bathe 10 days after steri strips

I wouldn't take a full blown soaking bath for at least a few weeks.  I waited almost six  Lots of risk for infection!

I’ve had 2 csections  and was able to take a shower the next day and just splash a little water on the incision. And I waited until they started to fall off on their own. I took a shower everyday after my csection and everything was fine. Just make sure u dry the incision very good and don’t leave it wet.

When it gets submerged in water the strips will come off a lot faster

Always go with what your doctor says
Having said that, I work in surgery... and usually they tell you not to submerge your steri strips in water.
