So I lost my virginity about 8 months ago. I am 23 and I wanted to wait til I was married, but I ended up losing it to my boyfriend, which I’m okay with, we have been together a pretty long time. We are long distance right now and so we only have sex about every 2 months or so. I always feel turned on by him, but it’s like once we start having sex, I feel nothing SOMETIMES it feels good, but not often. It just kind of hurts. Is this because I’m not having it often and I’m just not used to it? He is pretty big down there lol, but it just seems like if I try to do doggy, it makes me nauseous, and I can’t get him to touch me exactly the way I want him too. I feel like this would be better if we were having sex more often. But I’m just wondering if it’s always gonna hurt or feel uncomfortable lol. As soon as i tell him it hurts he immediately pulls out so he’s great about that and never makes me feel bad about it, but I really want to be able to enjoy it with him and I’m just not understanding all the hype around sex that everyone talks about but I want to obviously bc I feel so in love with him when we are intimate but I want to be 100% a part of it! I think it's just all in the practicing. 😂 The first few times you have sex it can be weird, awkward, painful and sometimes just confusing. Haha. You need time to figure eachother out. What you both like and dont like. Sometimes the answer is as simple as using lube. Maybe that's all you need. I would just make sure next time that you both take your time. Do a lot of foreplay, talk about what you want to do and try different things. Relax. If something hurts, instead of stopping completely, just try a different position maybe. Or just take a second before continuing. Sex sometime can be a lot of pressure. Just relax and take it slow. 😁

Don't be afraid to ask what you want, listen to each other. it's about the 2 of you not just one. When I lost my virginity I didn't fully understand what an orgasm was and it freaked me out so I would stop it.. once I figured it out it was amazing!

this is super tmi of me but my bf can't even fit unless we have lots of lube lol. i suggest a water based lube so 1. it won't feel gross and 2. it's safe to use with condoms. another suggestion is to have tons of foreplay beforehand to relax your body.
