He came!

They started go induce me on Dec 2 starting at 10pm. I went to the hospital with extreme itching and even though it was just extreme PUPPS, they didn’t like my glucose readings since I couldn’t get my GD under control, and I have a history of hypertension. Original due date either December 20/25.

I had an epidural so I was flying high. I had two great midwives (they sadly had to switch when one’s shift was over). My husband was amazinggggg!!!! Extremely supportive and cheering me on right there and then.

Pushing was hard. At 37 weeks, 4 days (according to ultrasound 36 weeks, 3 days), he was measuring almost 8lbs (3.43 kg). But he’s absolutely perfect!

Due to my diabetes they are taking him for observation for 6 hours and feeling him formula. So I’m patiently waiting to see him again ❤️. We still need to agree on a name.
