Is anyone else not particularly worried about letting baby watch cartoons?
I got so much flack for buying my baby a tablet for the car so he can watch a tv show or listen to an audiobook since we go see the grandparents at least every other weekend. I’m not dense and understand the important of limited screen time. Even as he gets older though I’m not going to be super strict or constantly worry about it? I know kids can get obsessed with technology these days but I feel like if a child has options and enjoys doing other things then they’ll be okay. My boyfriend and I have talked about this countless times, obviously he’s our first child, but as long as we introduce him to different activities and give him options we’re hoping he’ll grow up somewhat how we did. He’s even getting a play kitchen for his 1st birthday 👨🏼🍳 since we love cooking and baking around here! We’re also looking into moving back to Colorado as there are more outdoor activities, even for the whole family, then where we live now.
I just needed to vent! It’s definitely going to be hard raising a child in today’s society. We shouldn’t be judging or acting like we know the solution. Trust me, it’s in the back of all our mommy minds how to give our kids a full and happy childhood!
