Sorry...I just need to vent. I had my 20 week ultrasound this afternoon and it was like the worst ultrasound I've ever been to. I just remember my son's first ultrasound and it was absolutely magical. Like it felt so thorough, but this one just seemed so sloppy to me. The baby wasn't in the right position, we saw the back of his head the whole time. We're lucky we even got gender. We got NO pictures from this ultrasound, just one confirming it's a boy. I understand the baby wasn't cooperating so it's not her fault, but we didn't see toes, we didnt see fingers, we barely even saw the body and she didnt even get a picture of the body as a whole, and we didnt even hear the heartbeat. They couldn't get a good view of the heart so luckily we go back at the end of the month, she said theres nothing suspicious, they just couldn't get all the angles they wanted of it.

I feel like it's my fault for not asking questions, but I feel like I know absolutely nothing. She had me lay on my side for 10 minutes and then tried again, we saw the baby's face briefly, but she didnt even print a picture of it for us. Idk if it's because my expectations were so high or what but I'm completely disappointed over it. This was even at a specialists office and I was super excited about it and now I feel so down. 😭 I guess I just wanted the long strip of pictures and all the fun stuff and I feel robbed. 🤦‍♀️
