I’m not sure if I’m agender or just a very pretentious cis woman... I don’t really understand the concept of gender at all, and it doesn’t feel intrinsic to me the way I hear other people describe gender. Like, it just feels... fake, if that makes sense? (But then, I also really hate the concept of gender at all, and gender roles and the gender binary, as social constructs, so that’s why I’m not sure if I’m just being pretentious.) And I’m very, VERY femme presenting and I feel most like myself when I’m wearing flowy skirts and lace sweaters and winged eyeliner and lipstick, so it just feels like a pointless battle to pick a label when it doesn’t really seem to matter and I don’t experience dysphoria anyway.🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
Sorry for the long rant, lol. This is something that I’ve been thinking about a lot lately...
