My VBAC story!

Taylor • Christian couple with two sweet boys, the most darling baby girl and pregnant with our fourth ❤️

Hey mamas! I was originally due November 27th with baby boy #2 but he stayed in for a little longer! My first was induced at 41+2 and after an hour and a half of pushing he was face up and his heart rate kept dropping.. so I got a c section. I’ve been hoping and planning for vbac but my dr said my best bet to vbac would be to go into labor on my own! Well, as I passed my due date I stated to get discouraged! But...I started contracting Friday night at 40+2 super inconsistently...had bloody show Saturday morning and had more inconsistent contractions. I was contemplating all day going to l&d.. my hubby got home from work around 6 and that’s when the contractions started to really pick up... about 10 minutes apart! Around 9:00 they were 5-6 min apart & I couldn’t talk and I was almost screaming through the pain.. I really didn’t want to go to l&d and be sent home so I called my dr and he told me to wait 30 min.. after 20 min I told my hubby we had to go!! So we get to l&d and after the nurse saw me go through contractions she said “ I have a feeling you’re further along than we think..” so she checked and said “wow, his head is right there... you’re a 7!” I was shocked! And all of a sudden everyone was in a rush, rushed me to a room, I got the epidural, about 20 min later my dr got there and he checked me and said I was an 8... left for 15 min came back, broke my water and said I was complete and ready to push! A little under 2 hours of pushing and he came right out!! I got my vbac!!!! 🥳 and the sweetest 6lb 3oz tiny little man! He was born at 1:29 am December 1st 💙
