Scabies... tips?

Hi, after two days of terrible itchiness and 5 hours at the hospital I just got told I have scabies. Any tips or suggestions? This is my first time ever and I hate it

Basically keep everything clean and use the cream all over your body like they say to. Scabies are mites so they can fall off and get onto other surfaces

Did they give you a prescription? I had scabies once and had to use a prescription lotion all over my body. I also washed every bit of clothing and bedding I had and disinfected EVERYTHING everyday. I even sprayed my mattress with that lice/bug bed spray multiple times a week (my couch was faux leather so I just used a disinfectant wipe on it). These measure are probably pretty extreme but I had a really bad case that wasnt diagnosed until I'd had it for almost a year. I was miserable and desperate to get rid of it.
