CD did you start Letrozole?" /> 
Starting Letrozole next month. Everything I’m reading says to start CD 3. My OB emailed me and said to start CD 4....but my Rx bottle says to start CD 5!

I take it from CD 2-6 x

My Endo told me that you take it on day 3 if you don't ovulate on your own and day 5 if you just need a boost because you already ovulate. The reason being your hormones and body pick the egg on cd3

I’ve seen people start anytime cd1-5. Don’t worry-just do what your doc suggests for you.

Listen to your doctor. For iui I started on day 3, but starting on day 5 for my second round of ivf.

I did 3 cycles of femara Day 5 till 9.... and all 3 cycles I ovulated around day 17-18 ... but unfortunately, no pregnancy. I was also curious why doctor wanted me to start on day 5, after reading people starting on day 3... but at the end, it’s important to ovulate, and probably doctors know better what is better for each patient.

You can start anywhere between cd3-cd5. This month i started CD4 as well.
