Did you breast feed or formula feed your twins?

My twins are in the NICU and I am currently pumping for them. I am very nervous about how I will keep up with them when they get home. With my other two kids they never latched so I exclusively pumped but I can’t imagine doing that for the twins because it’s double to work. Any tips/ tricks are much appreciated for when they come home. Thank you!

I breastfed my twins for a week short of a year. (They self weaned) it's hard but totally doable. I only ever fed them together and had a great husband who was super supportive (mostly) I had the twin plus breast friend pillow. Always feed them together!!!

Do what works, don’t kill yourself over it. If pumping starts to become too much, add formula. If you can produce enough, great. My biggest regret my first pregnancy was feeling guilty and judged constantly about that kind of stuff. Just do what you do

I exclusively pumped and my twins were in the NICU for a month and a day. I pumped for about 6 months and the. It became too much. The NICU fortified my milk to help them gain weight. We were encouraged to keep doing that once we got home and they gave us instructions.

I exclusively pumped for about 2 weeks before the feeding and pumping schedule of two babies became too much for me. If I wasn't feeding a baby, I was pumping, and vice versa.  So we switched to formula. It wasn't for the lack of trying to breastfeed, they were preemie so they just couldn't latch. I tried. But I eventually had to give up my hopes of breastfeeding and admit that fed is best. So we switched. Any bit of breastmilk they get will be good for them though.
