If you just gave up your friends, family, career, salary, and everything you know to move to your husbands' country so he can be close to his mom & sister, would you expect your SIL to reach out to you if you have always had a good relationship?

I just gave up my entire life to move to my husbands' country because he wants to be closer to his mom and sister and his sister has never reached out to us to see how we are doing! When I asked her why she hasn't reached out she said well you should reach out first! I disagree, I am in your country, I don't know your culture, your language, I don't even know where I am on a map, you should reach out first, like help welcome me and take me under your wing. What ya'll think. Maybe I am a crazy bitch! I mean I know I am, but about this😆 By the way yes I am in classes learning the culture and language now, i was on a waiting list to get in😊
