Babyshower at 37 weeks too late?!?!

Question

Due to the holidays and me and my husband working retail, the only time we can do a baby shower is the first weekend in January which puts me at 37 weeks. Is that too late for a baby shower? I’m considering just telling my husband and mom to cancel I’m worried I will be pushing it too much.

We are also having mine at 37 weeks the first Saturday in January. With Christmas it was the only option.

Just had mine at 33 weeks, it really wore me out but I think it was worth it.  And my boyfriend and friend helped.  As long as u have help, I’d say go for it!!  :).

I just had mine yesterday at 36+2. With the holidays it was the best we could do. My friends and family did all the planning so all I had to do was show up. I feel a little rushed and overwhelmed to get everything washed/situated, but I'm really grateful for all the love and gifts. Just my experience with a relatively late baby shower.

If you aren’t having to do much or anything then I would say still have it! You will hopefully be able to enjoy celebrating your baby and get some stuff that you may need for baby too. 🙂
