Those of you who have been induced
I have no clue how dilated I am at the moment but two days ago (40+2) I was completely closed and firm. This is my second baby and they are 2 years apart exactly. With my daughter, I never really naturally dilated either, the difference was, my water broke and so they had to start pitocin after I wasn’t progressing. About 6-7 hours after, I was at a 10 ready to push.
I went to the ER a couple of days ago and asked about induction and the nurse said that since I’m closed, they will most likely do cervadil and then pitocin. I’m wondering, could I say no to the cervadil and see if my body responds to the pitocin first? Or do I HAVE to have the cervadil?
