Night time sleeping?

How are your baby’s sleeping at night? I can only get my little man to sleep swaddled for about 3 hours at night before we feed/change and then all he wants is to either be on my chest or sleep in his swing 😣 he fights being swaddled again and it’s not worth dealing with a screaming baby at 2 am 🙃

Have you tried those zipper swaddle blankets? Cause then you don’t have to unswaddle baby for feeding, and if you have to change a diaper you unzip at the bottom so his arms stay swaddled.

He is probably still trying to figure out his days/nights. It can take a while. It was recommended to us to wake our little one up wvery 2 hours during the day to feed and get him alert, then at night every 3. They said it will help him learn his days and nights. Also, sometimes he may act full and isn't! 
So with the recommendation plus changing prior to feeding, it has been getting a lot better! Plus some babies just don't like swaddles, could always try a sleep sack or one of those long sleepers as long as the room is warm.

My pediatrician is having us wake her up every three hours to feed her until she’s back up to birth weight. Or else she’d sleep a lot longer! I hate always waking her up! She’s 12 days old today so hopefully at the 2 week check they’ll say her weight is good and we don’t need to wake her up to feed her as often!
