Period and pregnant?

Can you have period and still be pregnant? I’m on birth control and take it everyday at the same time never missed a pill and last Saturday my bf came in me and Sunday i started my placebo pills and today i started bleeding like a period. I’m also cramping. This is my first time on birth control so i’m not sure but could you have a period and still be pregnant? I doubt it bc i take my pills correctly so i know there’s a small chance

Period, no. Bleeding, yes.

No. You medically and scientifically cannot have a period and be pregnant.
Many women do experience bleeding in early pregnancy, but it is very different from a period. 
Your period is the shedding of the lining of your uterus. It does this when there is no fertilized egg that has been implanted.
If the bleeding is heavy, if there are any clots, or if the bleeding lasts more than 4 days, it’s your period and you cannot be pregnant.

You are still protected on the placebo pill. I was in BC for almost 10 years never used a condom and never got pregnant.

No. You can’t have a real period when pregnant. You can have bleeding but not a real, shedding of uterine lining, period.
