When did you tell work?

I’m not really sure why but I’m super nervous about telling my employer. Amazing company and bosses and leadership are great and I know will be happy for us but still so nervous. 
I’m 9w3d and next week Christmas events are starting and I know drinks will be around too. 
When did you tell work??

I want to tell my work before I announce, but I’ll be away for the holidays and plan to announce either at Christmas or New Years, so I’m telling them a little before the first trimester is up. 
Another reason is I’ve had a few unrelated doctor appointments recently and my first prenatal appointment just turned into a meet your doc and a separate ultrasound (two appts instead of one) and neither can be scheduled on a weekend. Frustrating! But I want my boss to have a solid reason for me coming in late all the time. Luckily I have a really relaxed job with a flexible schedule so it doesn’t TRULY matter, but we still need to let them know if our schedule will be different than usual.

I told my work right away. I work in a NICU and can’t take care of certain patients with congenital infections. So my coworkers and attendings needed to know immediately.

I told my bosses today and I just found out I was pregnant yesterday.  I did so because I work with sting chemicals and do a lot of lifting and bending. I know it’s early but it’s better to stay safe than sorry. This is my first.

I work in retail and wanted to hold off as long as possible, but ended up having to tell them because I was dizzy at work and not feeling like myself.. so they wanted me to get medical help.. clearly pregnancy related lol

I told my direct boss right away. I’m at 10 weeks now and I’ve told most of my peers.

I am a private nanny, so I told my boss as soon as I had my first OBGYN appointment.  It’s hard to find replacements that work out so I wanted to give her as much time as possible.

I told one of my main managers at 8 weeks after an ultrasound only bc I was going through fertility treatments and she was amazing at letting me off for my appointments. I told everyone else at work at 12 weeks. I will say once you tell one person it will spread around so I wouldn’t tell anyone until you are definitely ready for everyone to know
