Embarrassing Postpartum Incident

I’m 12 days out from having my son and in an attempt to feel like myself again I decided to get my nails done. Over the past few days my bleeding was lighter but it seemed to pick up a bit this morning which I didn’t think much of. In any event I changed my pad before just leaving and headed to the salon. When the nail tech was done (about two hours after I had left the house) I stood up to wash my hands and noticed a quarter-size stain on the nicely upholstered chair. Could it be? No, it must be something else, nail polish, I reassured myself as I looked around and noticed some stains on other chairs, giving me some hope (the chairs were maroon to begin with). I nonchalantly pushed my chair in as I went to pay, eager to get the hell out of there and get home so I could investigate things. When I arrived I immediately went to check things out and noticed the pad had slipped a bit causing blood to leak onto my underwear (now trash) and the black postpartum leggings I was wearing. This is exactly why I am a tampon/cup girl and never use pads...they feel gross for one and for two cannot be trusted! In any event what would you guys do? Should I call and explain? I would absolutely offer to pay to have their chair cleaned as I feel so bad about it...only I’m mortified! Forget it and never go back? Go back and act like nothing happened? They aren’t my main salon but I do go there sometimes and they know I just had a baby...I’m sure they know it’s me 😞 I’ve never had this happen before...please give me your advice/tell me you’ve been here before!
