18 in college

My boyfriend and I just found out yesterday I’m four weeks pregnant.

He’s 19 and I’m 18 and we’re both freshman in college. We have no idea what to do.

My boyfriend and I have been talking about wanting kids with each other but obviously we know we couldn’t afford it now. We were thinking about after we graduate in about five years. We live together and are looking at apartments to moving into in May and we love each other and want a family of course. But this is all so sudden.

We just got jobs and are saving money but we are in college and he would lose his entire family. My family would be so disappointed. We wanted to go against having kids young just like our families did.

I don’t know if I can emotionally handle abortion. I don’t think I can live with myself but I also know I don’t think I can afford to raise the child or if I’m ready to at 18. I don’t want to give it up for adoption so we are just deciding between abortion and raising the child.

I would be excited to raise it but I’m so young and so scared and broke. I don’t know what to do.
