I became and expert due to having so many pets with different ailments and going to school and getting my certs as a veterinary technician. I care about what is around my pets and want them to live long lives. My recommendations would be watch the foods you feed your pets keep them dye free if possible. If you wish you can feed them cooked unseasoned meat. For carnivores like cats and dogs. For ferrets I recommend meat baby food with a bit of pumpkin and egg yolk heated enough to warm it but not cook it if they need to gain weight and need that nutrient boost. But also allow them to have dry food too. Now there are many situations for different pets. If you ask about anything domestic and a mammal 9/10 I can help. My favorite things for pets are items you find at home or for what most people consider for humans. Oh and food for thought if you have a strong chewer horse toys. They are tougher and last longer before you have to replace them.
