3 healthy recipes for family and baby!
About 5 years ago I made the switch and started making healthier choices with my eating habits. I did countless research on what my body needs and what my body will thrive on. I switched to a plant based diet and saw my body change drastically. I lost weight, my energy levels where up, and overall I felt better. I make food from scratch, or take recipes that are people’s favorites and can substitute them for healthier ingredients.
After about 2 years of that, I started working at a daycare and working with children. The menu there was not the greatest and was full of processed foods. I had mentioned something to my manager at the time about maybe starting to incorporate healthier foods into the kids diets. She agreed and we slowly started making changes, to have more fresh foods instead of processed. I am now in charge of making the monthly menus to make sure the kiddos have a healthy morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack. I am very well knowledge in plant passed diets, vegetarian and regular healthy eating . I understand that everything single person and child’s bodies are different and they are all going to need different foods the fuel there body correctly. I teach them about lifestyle changes not a “diet”. My goal is to be able to show people it’s actually pretty easy to make the switch, and the outcome is incredible.
