Adulthood is actually kind of magical
My family has always lived in poverty, it got especially bad when I was a teenager. There were times when we would live off of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and ramen noodles. We were in the lower income class. Obviously it could have been helped, like much of all things in life; you can change your life and situation. If my Mom didn’t smoke, maybe learned to manage our money, stopped living off social security and actually got a job we would do more than fine. Though, I’m not upset with her- me and my 6 siblings always somehow had what we needed even though we lived off 22,000 dollars annually.
My point is, when you get older you can buy things you never had when you were younger and appreciate them so much more. I don’t say all that for you pity, I don’t want it.
When I was a teenager, I had to use those cheap 1 dollar bic razors. They always have me razor burn and didn’t really do much. Ha. Now I’m older, I, for the first time, bought a good, quality razor and used it today. I can never go back. I just appreciate the freaking razor so much. That is all. 😂
