Will you dress the same way in 20, 40 years?
Or do you think you’ll feel it’s not appropriate to wear some outfits after a certain age?
Do you think you’d raise an eyebrow if you saw an 80 year old wearing ripped jeans and a crop top?
Would you feel uncomfortable wearing something someone a decade younger might wear?
I was thinking today about how I would feel ridiculous wearing some of the old outfits in my closet. They still fit, but I feel I’m too old for them. But then I was thinking how I probably wouldn’t notice if I saw someone else my age wearing it - and if I saw someone even older, I’d just think to myself “way to go old lady!” - so I’m not sure where this pressure to “dress my age” comes from. And I’m curious to hear what other people think.
Does clothing even have an age?
50 year old dressing like she’s 18 - right? Wrong? Weird? Awesome?
