Nurses, nursing students etc! Pls help!

Hi sorry if this is in the wrong type of group, I’m just desperate to hear from you ladies so thank you for understanding.

I’m looking into becoming a nurse, or maybe nursing assistant. I haven’t learned the nitty gritty of the difference and what degrees are needed, how long of schooling is needed etc.

If you’re a nurse, nursing assistant or in nursing school can you please tell me a bit about the path you’re taking/took.. things like how long it took to become whichever type of nurse you are, whether it was in a nurse program or in a college, what your job will be/is etc
