Medicaid Doctors and pregnancy???‼️‼️🤨🤨🤨

so what all do the doctors do when you’re pregnant? Like besides ultrasounds? Do ultrasounds help to see the health of the baby and stuff like that? Please inform me! 
Newly pregnant and ignorant to the pregnancy world. Haven’t gone to an official doctor yet. Need Medicaid before I do that. Went to a free center here and they can show me the heartbeat and image and show more of how far along I am. But it’s a limited ultrasound. I want to know the ropes and my babies health and more additional information on if my baby is developing or growing correctly? Idk! Need details! What all do pregnancy doctor visits do? 
Also, how the heck do I do Medicaid? I made an account and I need a case or EDG number? Where do I get that? Did I already apply for my Medicaid? I’m confused. I created my account and applied I think, it took me to some phone number but it made no sense. 
And I have a limited account? It’s like I can’t access anything without these case numbers? Why is Medicaid seeming so difficult to get?

You can go into your local Medicaid office with your proof of pregnancy (the free clinic can give you that) proof of income and proof of rent/mortgage. Depending on your state it can take up to 30 days for them to decide if you qualify. Sometimes, they’ll tell you right then and there and if you qualify for WIC.
Doctors are really important during pregnancy. They do pelvic exams, check for STIs, check for abnormalities in pregnancy, make sure your gaining the appropriate weight, and so on. Plus they catch the baby after you push it out. Super important

Doctor appointments do help a lot they do bloodwork for you and the health of the baby heartbeat checks ultrasounds the measurements of the fetus to make sure there growing properly keep up with your vitals your iron any concerns or questions there’s a lot there that help you during your pregnancy your fluid around the baby look at your baby organs keep check on your weight also it’s plenty of things that can harm you or hurt your pregnancy like high blood pressure if you turn diabetic there’s preeclampsia where your organs could shut down so there’s a lot that you all will discuss and be monitored for at a prenatal appointment

Yes they do ultrasounds while pregnant but the number varies. You’ll likely get one in the beginning and a 20week anatomy scan which will confirm the baby is healthy and tell you their gender if you wish to know
