Ladies, have you already gotten your Tdap vaccine?

I have seen the Tdap is recommended between 27 & 36 weeks to protect against pertussis.

Everyone who’s going to be around the baby a lot should be getting this. Baby can’t get tdap until they are two months. You get it every pregnancy. So I guess they kinda get some of the shot. But like let’s say this is your 2nd pregnancy and dad gets it when you are pregnant with the first he doesn’t need to get it again for 10 years. My daughters peds just explained this to me. Babies get it 2m, 4, 6, 15-18, 4-6y and than like 14-16years old.

I got it when pregnant with my first so i was told by my doctors that i don't need to get it because I'm still covered by that vaccine, i plan to double check just in case (he's 9 and i know it's a 10 year deal, just seems a little close to needing it again to me even though I've been told otherwise)

I had gotten it a bit early, 20 weeks. I was at my family doctor's for a non pregnancy issue and I mentioned I needed the Tdap. Midwives can't give it here so family doctor has to. He said could do it today. Tell my midwife the week after I got it and she said it was fine but hopefully the passive immunity sticks around enough for the baby after. I looked up research and found in a couple studies there was still immunity after birth getting it that early, but to be on the safe side my immediate family needs to get it if they haven't in the last 10 years. I just have to remind them. 
And just fyi it's a new recommendation for all pregnancies to give baby some extra immunity due to the unfortunate rise of pertussis aka whopping cough which is horrifying to see babies get.

Yes I got mine yesterday I have always gotten it at the same appointment as my diabetes screen and my rhogam shot with all my pregnancies
